FBK-4 is an automatic feedback canceller processor designed for live applications. It consists of two channels featuring each 24 static and dynamic filters.
Static or fixed mode automatically selects and adjusts filters to eliminate the feedback effect usually caused by room acoustic defaults. This mode can use up to 24 filters depending on the number of frequencies to be attenuated.
Dynamic or live mode continuously detects and eliminates feedback occurring during a performance like a microphone moved too close to speakers. It uses the remaining available filters from the static mode. The correcting filters are released when they are no more necessary and become available for a new correction.
